2024 Cadillac Escalade
Three robust engine options power both the 2024 Cadillac Escalade and 2024 Chevy Tahoe. Two are shared engines — the 6.2L V8 and 3.0L Duramax® turbo diesel inline six-cylinder (I6) engines are available on both the Escalade and Tahoe.
The Escalade makes the 6.2L engine standard equipment, while the Tahoe makes it optional. Instead, the Tahoe features a 5.3L V8 engine with lower power output numbers as its standard power plant. For its third engine, the Escalade-V model features a hand-built supercharged 6.2L V8 that takes power and performance to an entirely different level.
A ten-speed automatic transmission is included with each engine for either model. Rear-wheel drive (RWD) or four-wheel drive (4WD) is available. The Escalade-V features standard all-wheel drive (AWD) with an electronic limited-slip differential.
